Port City Faith Asks the Question, “Is God Real?”

Everyone has questions about God…and it’s ok to ask them. In addition to wondering if God is real, most of us at some point have asked other important questions about the Bible and life.

Starting September 11 at 10:45 a.m., Port City Faith is hosting a fall sermon series and launching small groups called The God Questions to help people explore answers to even the toughest questions. For those who grew up in church, or for those who have never set foot in one, The God Questions promises to be eye-opening when it comes to things everyone asks. The entire community is invited to attend.

“We will tackle the six most asked questions people have concerning God,” said Pastor Sebastian Foti.

Some topics of the series will include:

  • Is God real?
  • Is the Bible true?
  • Do all roads lead to heaven?
  • If God is so good, why is there bad?
  • Which is right: creation or evolution?
  • What will heaven be like?

Pastor Foti also encourages questions through private message on the church’s Facebook page, that he will address on Sunday mornings.

“This campaign will equip the believer, engage the seeker and answer the skeptic,” said Foti.

Port City Faith Assembly of God Church is located at 436 West Fifth Street in Oswego. For more information, call 342-5333.
